Today Edisto Realty is owned by Matthew Kizer. Matthew's grandparents moved to Edisto in the early 1920’s and served the Island visitors at their general Store(The Edistonian) oyster plant and shrimp house on Big Bay Creek.  Matthew grew up on Edisto, ran shrimp boats as a young man, and knows the island from the ancient live oaks of the plantations to the pluff mud along the oyster beds.
