6BR/3.5BA-(Q/ Q/ K/ 2S/ 2S/Triple Bunk) - Sleeps 12 - Nothing says “Edisto Living” like this bright and airy beach house with hardwood floors throughout.  Perfectly situated second row, oceanside, you will enjoy gorgeous views from the main level porch and upstairs verandah/sundeck, and the easy stroll across the dirt road to beach access 22.  Designed for the owner’s large family, the home has a great, open floor plan for easy congregating and visiting with one another.  On the main level you will love the huge, open kitchen, living, and dining rooms with four double French doors that open onto a covered porch with great ocean views! Curl up on the sofa to watch a movie on a rainy afternoon or check out the big game on the brand new, 65-inch flat screen TV. The kitchen, circa 2003, is well equipped and very functional.  It has a large center island, a breakfast bar, and plenty of counter space for everyone to help with the cooking.  You will also find a full-sized HE washing machine and dryer just off the kitchen. Finishing out the first floor is the primary bedroom with a queen size bed, spiffy new 55-inch Samsung Smart TV, and private full bath. There is also a 1/2 bath near the front entrance located in the short hall leading to the bedroom on this floor. The staircase leads to the 2nd floor with 5 more bedrooms.  Three of the bedrooms have ocean views with French doors leading to the upstairs verandah. One bedroom has a queen, one a king, and the middle bedroom is the “bunkroom” with a triple bunk bed and a Smart TV.  The other two bedrooms, each with two twin beds, face Palmetto Blvd.  You will not believe the views from the verandah!  This is the perfect place to catch a few rays on the Polywood lounge chairs or stargaze at night.  There are 2 full hall bathrooms (tub/shower combination) on this floor as well. The ground level of our beach home has an outside shower for rinsing off, covered area with picnic tables, and lots of parking! Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with a non-refundable fee. Please note, this is a non-smoking property.  You need to bring your own sheets and towels or rent them from a local company. Optional travel insurance is available upon request.
